Summit County’s El Paso Lasso as a band we love #5 Now they are expanding to music festivals like Electric Forest and venues all over the country. We love this band because they play unique rock and electronic original music with high energy performances that keep you dancing late into the night!Įminence Ensemble consists of six members and has a big sound because of it! Members are Tanner Bardin on the drums, Nick Baum on percussion and lead vocals, Johnny Bosbyshell on keyboard and synth, Zac Flynn on bass, synth, and vocals, Taylor Frederick on guitar and vocals, and last but not least Justin Neely on guitar and vocals.Įminence Ensemble has played at Warren Station before and all over Summit County. This Summit County raised band started in Summit County and grew up in Boulder. Their music is “bluegrassy, jazzy, rocky, jammy mountain music” that gets you moving and is fun dancing music! Summit County originated band we love #4: Eminence Ensemble We love them because they are great people who play unique covers and danceable originals. High Five consists of Levi Corrigan on vocals and guitar, Billy Merrill on vocals, guitar, and keys, Tyler Easton on vocals and bass, and lastly, Jay Davis on the drums. They even play with members of the Infamous Stringdusters and the String Cheese Incident! They are fantastic musical collaborators and amazing on their own as well. These guys play a little bit of everything, and you will often find them collaborating with other groups like Hobo Village and Shaky Hand String Band. Summit County Band We love #3: High FiveĪnother great band we love has been around for 15 years in Summit County and is called High Five. We are excited to share that they were finalists at the 2018 Pickin’ in the Pines band contest, and their 2017 album is available for sale and is called Two Miles High. Shaky Hand String band has performed all over the US in the past three years, not just in Summit County. “Foodies and beer lovers your palate will thank you while your feet will be tapping to the best in Colorado Bluegrass with Summit County’s Shaky Hand String Band.”
We can’t say enough how much we love these guys and are even quoted on their website saying: Next up is the bluegrass band Shaky Hand String Band that calls themselves “mountain grass.” This band consists of Jess Rose Moidel on the fiddle, Patrick O’Halloran on the banjo, Todd Webster on the mandolin, Loren Zyniecki on the Guitar, and Angel Edgemon on the Bass. Hobo Village is a Summit County band that “blends influences of classic rock, 90’s alternative, funk, blues, and heavy metal with a heavy psychedelic sound.” Summit County Band we love #2: Shaky Hand String Band And, Hobo Village will be joining the likes of Hells Belles on stage for the 10th anniversary of the Bacon and Bourbon Festival this summer in Keystone. We have seen Hobo Village perform music at places like Arapahoe Basin’s 6th Alley and in Breckenridge at Apres. “Hobo Village has, according to their loyal fans, brought heavy rock and roll music back to the High Country in a way they haven’t heard before,” this from their website. All of the band members are based out of Summit County, CO, and they rock! These guys performed at Warren Station for New Year’s Eve this year and knocked it out of the park.
